Manufacturer Data

Vehicle specifications (engine, dimensions, features, pricing) are sourced from official manufacturer data through verified automotive data providers. This includes MSRP, standard and available features, engine specifications, and vehicle dimensions.

NHTSA (National Highway Traffic Safety Administration)

Safety ratings and recall information come directly from NHTSA's public databases. The 5-Star Safety Rating system evaluates vehicles in frontal crash, side crash, and rollover resistance.

IIHS (Insurance Institute for Highway Safety)

IIHS crash test ratings (including Top Safety Pick and Top Safety Pick+ designations) are sourced from the IIHS public database. These complement NHTSA ratings with additional crash test scenarios.

Fuel economy ratings (MPG city, highway, and combined) come from EPA test results published at fueleconomy.gov. For electric vehicles, this includes range estimates and MPGe ratings.

OEM Press Materials

Vehicle images are sourced from official manufacturer media portals where available. These images are used under editorial use provisions. When manufacturer images are not available, we use AI-generated illustrations clearly labeled as such.
